We need Board members for next season!
Pocket Girls Softball is now accepting nominations for next year's Executive Board. The term of commitment is one year, with the possibilty for re-election in subsequent terms.

Nominations will be accepted via email through Thursday, May 31st. Please send your nomination to pocketgirlssoftball@gmail.com
You may submit a nomination for yourself or another person over the age of 18. However, please confirm that parties are interested in the position prior to nomination. Nominations may be for a particular Board position, or for a general (to be specified) position.
An election of the general membership (all registered families) will take place during Closing Day Ceremonies on Saturday, June 2nd.
Elected Board members will begin their terms on November 1, 2012.
Please note: Board members are exempt from the requirement to pay a volunteer fee for the season.

The 12U Black Magic won 1st place in the 2012 Natomas Shootout this weekend! Congratulations to all of the girls and coaches Steve Kawelo, Doug McCarley, and Renee Yorita!
The Blue Crew took 2nd place in the 10U division! Way to go girls! Congratulations coaches Steve Cobb, Patrick Foster, and Angee Gonzalez! The girls did great out there!
We are so proud of all of the PGS teams for representing Pocket Girls Softball so well this weekend!

The snack shack cannot open without you!
The snack shack has a new countertops, a new floor, new roof, new deck and a new and improved menu but it cannot open without you! We need at least 3 volunteers per shift to be able to open.

We would love to have your pictures from the season! If you caught your player, team, or anyone from the league in a picture-worthy moment and were inspired to snap away, please share your photos for the yearbook. We would love to have tons and tons of pictures to choose from.
